Bakari T. Sellers is an American politician and attorney. He represented South Carolina's 90th district in the lower house of the state legislature from 2006 to 2014. Mr. Sellers will be the keynote speaker for the Longest Table event, 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Sinclair Community College.
Eric F. Spina has served as president of the University of Dayton, a top-tier national Catholic research university, since July 1, 2016. Mr. Spina will be the keynote speaker during the Conference Welcome event at the Dayton Convention Center beginning at 6:00 p.m.
First elected to the Dayton City Commission in 2005, Nan was the youngest women ever chosen for a commission seat. Her career is distinguished by her commitment to public service, civic involvement and interest in local government. She was proud to be elected as Dayton’s mayor in 2013 by a double-digit majority. As mayor, she has focused on the areas of community development, manufacturing, and women and children. Ms. Whaley will be the keynote speaker during the conference luncheon at the Dayton Convention Center, Friday, October 5, 2018 beginning at 11:15 a.m.

Dr. Linda Burrs is the President and Principal Consultant of the Step Up to Success home of Second Generation diversity training. Her consulting firm focuses on leadership and organizational strategies for leaders, teams and individuals. Dr. Burrs will be the keynote speaker during the Dinner event at the Dayton Convention Center on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.
